About The Event

The James River Basin Partnership (JRBP) is a grassroots, not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization formed in 1997. Our mission: to protect the water quality in our springs, streams, rivers and lakes while holding a vision of clean water for you, your children and your grandchildren. The basin’s 931,112 acres exist within seven southwest counties. Chances are, it’s where you live! The lakes, rivers and streams of Southwest Missouri, from the James River to Table Rock Lake, are the driving force behind our regional economy. In Branson, what began as small fishing expeditions along the shores of the White River became a multi-million dollar economy drawing millions of visitors annually, all based on the lure of clean water for outdoor recreation.

Hundreds of swimmers and athletes will test their ability and endurance in Southwest Missouri’s ONLY open water swim event, featuring a 500 yd, 1 mile and 2 mile swim. Part of the popular 2010 UltraMax Championship Series, a Midwestern advertised competition series, this event will bring hundreds of athletes and their families to vacation destination Branson, Mo. The competition is open to individuals and teams. It is held in Table Rock Lake, at the picturesque Moonshine Beach. Proceeds from this event will support programs of the James River Basin Partnership (JRBP).

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Title Sponsorship: $1,000

This headline sponsorship level features your logo prominently displayed on all event promotional materials, including: event banner, website, poster, correspondence and any free gifts offered to more than 200 competitors.

Lunch Sponsorship: $500

This sponsorship funds the post-race lunch, featuring locally grown foods prepared in a tasty regional menu. Lunch sponsorship includes your logo displayed during lunch and on the event banner, website and poster.

General Sponsorship: $100

This level includes your company name displayed on event banner, website and poster. Choosing to sponsor Swimmin’ in Moonshine allows your organization to demonstrate a commitment to strong environmental values while supporting outdoor recreation, tourism and personal health. As a sponsor you immediately become a member of JRBP and have access to member benefits. You may choose to offer promotional materials to be included in the participant’s packets. Event proceeds will directly support the James River Basin Partnership and our outreach programs to inform and educate citizens of the James River Basin to protect and conserve our precious water resources.
