About the Event

Open Water Swim Distances: 500 yd – 1 mile – 2mile
This is Southwest Missouri’s ONLY open water swim event. Race is held on Table Rock Lake rated one of the regions cleanest lakes and located in vacation destination Branson, Mo. This is a perfect spot to hit the water for a short or long swim and test your ability and endurance in the open water. The event is open to individuals and and is staged in a picturesque setting at Moonshine Beach.

Course Description
- 500 yd race will be an out and back swim
- 1 mile race will be one loop of course
- 2 mile race will be two loops of course
WETSUITS or OTHER AIDS: Swimmers will not be allowed to wear wetsuits. Water temperature ranges from 78 to 83 degrees. Additionally, no other swim aids (e.g. snorkels or fins) will be allowed.
RULES: All swimmers are required to wear fluorescent swim caps for safety reasons. Caps will be provided to all swimmers. Swimmers are required to leave a valid form of Identification at the check in table before the race, which can be retrieved after exiting the water. This will ensure all swimmers are out of the water at the conclusion of the race.
SAFETY: A minimum of 10 safety boats will be positioned throughout the course during the event. Each safety boat will be equipped with floatation devices for swimmers who need assistance.
